filter cleans, Restorations, and one-time services

Platinum customers receive three (3) free filter cleans per year as part of their plan.  Excludes any filter clean needed at signup.  Other limitations and exclusions apply.  Please see our service agreement for details.  Replacement of damaged parts or filter elements is an extra cost.

Filter cleans are a required part of our service for all maintenance customers and will be performed every 3-4 months.  These customers will receive an automatic 20% discount off of the regular price.  Replacement of damaged parts or filter elements is an extra cost.

Regular price for filter cleans for customers not on one of our maintenance plans.  ($249 for Sta-Rite filters.)  Replacement of damaged parts or filter elements is an extra cost.

Single-cartridge filters generally must be cleaned every 2-3 months.  Some pools require them monthly.  We recommend ALL customers with single cartridge filters seriously consider upgrading to a multi-cartridge filter!

Sand filters must have their sand or filter media replaced every 3-5 years.  Price includes removing existing media, inspecting laterals, installing new media, disassembly, reassembly, and haul-off  Sand is included.  Other filter media is available at an extra cost.  Small filter.

A one-time clean is a full-service cleaning for customers who are not on a weekly service plan.  All maintenance chemicals are included.  Stabilizer, algaecide, and phosphate remover are extra cost.

If your pool water is green or there is a lot of algae on the walls or suspended in the water, then a green-to-clean might be recommended.  Service includes first visit, all chemicals, including stabilizer, phosphate remover, and algaecide.  One or two additional visits at a cost of $75 may be necessary depending on pool condition.  After 3 visits it is more cost effective to do a Drain & Clean.  A filter clean is an extra cost, but is recommended.

If you cannot see the main drain of your pool, a Drain & Clean is recommended.  We drain the water, power wash the walls and floor, and refill the pool.  Also includes a return visit to add startup chemicals.  Additional charges apply for diving pools or pools with excess debris.

A particularly bad pool with severe staining may benefit from a Drain & Acid Wash.  We drain the water, acid wash the walls and floor, and refill the pool.  Also includes a return visit to add startup chemicals.  Additional charges apply for diving pools or pools with excess debris.

Removal of black algae is not included in your regular weekly service plan.  If your pool develops black algae, it is never the fault of the pool service company.  Black algae is introduced into the pool from organic sources and can grow and flourish even if the pool chemistry and maintenance are perfect.  Includes chemicals and labor to remove black algae from the pool.  By quote only, minimum $250.

While testing of phosphate levels is included with your service plan, removal of phosphates is not included.  Phosphates are algae food and are introduced into the pool from organic debris such as leaves.  Includes chemicals and labor to remove phosphates from pool.
